A pocket-sized oddity to keep close to your heart!

This small antique carved soapstone trinket box contains a very tiny ermine skull. The box is very detailed, with fine carvings on the side. The flowers on the lid are mother-of-pearl inlay.

The small ermine skull fits perfectly inside the little box and is atop a bed of lichen. The skull is ethically-sourced from Cape Breton Island. It is a forest find which died of natural causes.

Nothing in the box is glued down, you can remove the skull and lichen as you please.

Please note that this piece is quite small! The stone box measures only 5.4 cm in length, 4.2 cm in width, and 3 cm in depth.
